On-Campus Recruiting

Welcome to on-campus recruiting (OCR) at the Cullen College of Engineering Career Center. The Engineering Career Center's eConnection system allows for true flexibility in the recruiting process.

Overview

OCR is designed to connect employers with engineering students for co-op, internship and full-time positions.

OCR offers employers the opportunity to interview students on location through the Engineering Career Center. To get started:

1. Post an open position through the eConnection OCR module
2. Create a resume book to assist with student pre-selections
3. Pre-select students you are interested in interviewing from the resume book
4. Contact the Engineering Career Center to schedule an on-Campus Interview schedule
5. Access eConnection and report candidates you have selected for employment.

Recruiting Options

• Pre-select Schedule: Employers log-on to eConnection and post a job description and select interview date(s). Once the interview date is approved by the Engineering Career Center, employers can search student resumes and invite candidates to sign up for open interview spaces. When the pre-select period ends, the students are notified that they have been chosen for an interview, and they sign-up for an available time slot via eConnection. Important: A 6 week time period is established prior to the recruitment date for pre-selections to be finalized.
• Information Session: Company representatives can organize information sessions through the University Center (UC). There is a minimal fee to reserve rooms. By clicking this link you will be directed to the UC for room reservations.
• Room-Only: If you prefer to schedule your own interviews, and only need a place to conduct interviews, we can reserve an interview room for you. Please contact us to schedule a date. The employer contacts and schedules interview times directly with candidates.
